So we all thought the dog days of summer were in August ? Welcome to the weather of Northwest Indiana ! Hot Hot Hot ! Amazing how the heat effects plants, pets, and people ! The one thing we all have in common is the need for water. ( Okay adding a bit here on Saturday the 23rd, I guess be careful what you wish for as we had 4 hours of thunderstorms last night ! A lot of rain thankfully !)

Please Bookmark LE Garden's website! We bloom all year long like our plants. On our LE Garden page you will find our Specials and pricing. My husband Ron & I purchased the ten acres in northwestern Jasper County known as LE Garden in 1997, so we are preparing for our 15th growing season.
Besides selling from our farm here in Wheatfield, we have sold plants and produce in the Crown Point Farmers Market for 14 years, and at the Valparaiso Market for 11. I prefer direct marketing because I like getting to know the people that buy what I produce. I have many customers that come back year after year for their garden plants shopping for vegetables for harvest or flats of flowers for their landscaping needs.
